Production Line Picker

Premier Work Support are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full time and Part time -Production Line Pickers to join our prestigious clients food production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and packing food produce items accurately and efficiently from the production line. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to food safety standards.

The key responsibilities for this position are:

* Select and pack food produce items according to specifications and quality standards.
* Ensure that picked items are free from defects and meet company quality requirements.
* Label and package products correctly and efficiently
* Load and unload products onto and off the production line.
* Organise and stage materials for easy access during the picking process.
* Perform visual inspections to identify any issues or defects in the products.
* Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Accurately record picking data and maintain logs as required.
* Complete any required paperwork and ensure records are up to date
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
* Basic understanding of food production processes and quality standards.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
* Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (hot or cold, depending on the type of food produce).

Additional Requirements:

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including various shifts available to suit you.
* Overtime available as and when required.
* Full time and part time shifts available.
* This role is Monday to Friday or Saturday. Shifts times will vary starting between 06:00 to 09:00 and finishing between 14:30 16.30 - 18.30 depending on your shift pattern.
* The company can be flexible on shifts.
* You will be expected to provide a valid passport, Right to Work (RTW) documents, 5-year background references, and a DBS certificate.
* Compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including wearing appropriate protective clothing and equipment provided by the client.

This may be a temp to perm position for the right candidate. The benefits if you go permanent are below -
