The IBA Technician will work within a small and collaborative team who work closely with colleagues across the business, markets and clients to provide an accurate and timely accounting service.



Overview

* Management of underwriter payables process and payments in relation to Company and Placing Intermediary markets including reconciliation of balances and payments to underwriters.
* Management of claims payable process and payments to claimants
* Maintenance of the Insurance Broking Ledgers, to include reconciliations and settlements to insurers, agents and producers
* Responsibility for regular Insurer and Market payments and on occasion company payments
* Any other reasonable task or project as may be required from time to time

Key skills

* Knowledge of Insurance Broking accounting
* Claims and premium reconciliation
* Experience of multi-currency accounting
* Lloyds / London market experience preferred
* Use of ACTURIS would be a bonus

What is on offer

* This is an urgent hire and our client would like applications from candidates who can start asap. (a 1 month notice period is the maximum)
* The role can be permanent or a temporary assignment, depending on your requirements.
* Salary to £45,000 p.a.
