Location: Rochester, Kent
Type of Position: Permanent (3-month probation period)
Hours of Work: Full Time - 48 hours per week
Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 18:00-06:00hrs
Pay: £12.45 per hour +15% nigh shift allowance after 20:00

Training (approximately 3 months): Mon-Thur 0600-1630 and Friday 0600-1430.


The Best Connection Employment Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy engineering company in Rochester, Kent. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their team on the night shift.

Role Overview:

As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in processing castings and maintaining the high standards of our client's machining department. If you have previous manufacturing and CNC experience, thrive under pressure, and are keen to work a night shift, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

CNC Operations: Operate CNC turning, CNC milling, manual turning, manual milling, and drilling machines.
Part Processing: Follow relevant drawings, techniques, and instructions to process parts accurately.
Inspection: Occasionally inspect machined parts and perform first-off checks of other operators' work.
Occasional Duties:

Conduct additional tasks as required, including quality checks and inspections.
