The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Steel Galvanising Labourers who will be working on a 12 week temp to perm for our client in Sittingbourne.
Shifts available are:
AMs - 06:00 till 14:00 - £9.18 per hour
PMs - 14:00 till 22:00 - £9.18 / £10.40 p/hr
Night- 22:00 till 06:00 - £10.40 per hour
Monday to Friday with optional overtime and weekend work available for additional hours.
Time and Half after 8 hours Monday to Friday / Saturday Time and Half / Sundays Double Time.
Candidates will be required to:
Manoeuvre items for treatment
Prepare items for treatment
Hang items prior to dipping
Manoeuvre items ready for dispatch
Assist in other day to day labouring duties
QC work and use of power tools including grinders
Very manual work so being physically fit is required for this position as the candidates will be working in pairs to manoeuvre heavy steel items.
Fully trained on Overhead Cranes / PPT / Lifting Equipment
ALL successful candidates will need to attend an 4 hour induction before first shift.
We require CVs and a solid work history at the interview.
A previous work history in a similar working environment is preferred.
The role will also include random drugs & alcohol test.
