Our client, a cutting-edge manufacturer dealing with clients on an international basis it is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing business. The role would suit a dynamic individual who has an eye for detail
As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for theâ¦
* Ensuring product components are of a high standard in line with company standards
* Checking specifications match up to customers' requirements
* Executing goods and materials in for defect and quality levels
* Aid calibration of measuring and production equipment
* Work to improve and identify areas of quality improvement
* Drive ethos of correct working process and best practices
* Be involved in daily meeting to identify areas of opportunity
* Liaise with customers on standards and specifications of goods
* Ensure a safe, clean orderly workspace
* Maintain records for standards and non-conforming products
Person Specification:
* Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings is essential to the job
* Ability to use precise measuring tools such as Vernier Calliper, Micrometre, Height Gauge, Slip Gauges, X-Ray, Clock & Stand, Depth Micrometre and RA Tester is a must
* Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal required for role
* Must have excellent eye for detail in order to execute role
* A strong understanding of math is highly desirable
