Our client based in the Swale area requires an Operations Manager to join their team as part of their of succession plan.
This is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing / production engineer with people management experience to progress to the next stage in their career.
The role will involve working towards achieving manufacturing excellence through people and processes, applying continuous improvement and instilling this in all production/technical personnel to improve efficiencies in all aspects of manufacturing to include minimising downtime and waste.
Suitable candidates will have the following skills / attributes / experience:
• HNC / HND (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques.
• Previous experience in a Management / Supervisory position
• Highly personable with excellent communication, inter-personal and motivation skills and be comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
• Ability to time manage, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Have strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
• IT literate.
• Driving licence

Salary is dependent upon skills and experience.
