Mainstream Staff Supplies are one of Kent's leading employment agencies providing labour to the transport and logistics sector.
We are working with our client on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells to recruit drivers mates to work as part of a home delivery team.
You will be working alongside professional drivers delivering home wares on behalf of a prestigious retail company. Operating from their dedicated distribution centre, you will be making deliveries as a team to residential customers across the South-east.
Smart in appearance and able to communicate effectively are essential as you will be delivering goods into customers homes. You will need to be physically fit as most goods will be either flat packed or pre-assembled furniture. Your own transport and experience of similar roles in the past would be desirable but not essential.
These are genuine long term opportunities for the right people with the prospect of permanent positions in the future. Successful candidates will be required to attend an onsite induction covering health & safety and manual handling after which, you will be provided with assignments.
Shifts are Monday to Saturday with most on a 5 day rota.
