A fantastic opportunity has arisen working within the busy MIS team here at North Kent College, the Analyst & Reporting Officer will work with the Database, BI & Integrations Coordinator to assist in the development of cross college systems to streamline and continually improve the quality of data collection and dissemination to allow internal stakeholders to access the required information in readily accessible formats. 

The successful candidate will have either relevant IT degree or Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) and a Level 3 (or equivalent) in numeracy. They will have previous, demonstrable experience in a similar role where it was essential to develop reporting applications using SQL Server, database technology and reporting tools, along with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) experience or have intermediate understanding of SQL, with proficiency in writing and optimizing queries using SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, and be familiar with stored procedures, functions, and views.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail. If you have knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous.

Where you’ll work: The role is based at North Kent College’s Dartford campus.

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE).

Your pay: £35,483 per annum
