Quantity Surveyor
Portsmouth (Office-Based)

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic construction business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director, assisting with pricing, tendering, and estimating, while managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the MD with pricing and tender submissions.
* Prepare and manage estimates and cost plans.
* Oversee 2-3 live projects, with values ranging from £110k to £3m.
* Handle valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Ensure projects remain commercially viable and delivered on time.

About the Role

* Office-based in Portsmouth.
* Most projects are located in London.
* Specialising in cladding, roofing, and scaffolding.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
* Strong knowledge of commercial management and tendering.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
