Trade Counter Sales & General Duties – Part Time.

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our small, friendly team at All Flat Roofing Supplies Ltd. This is a part-time position assisting with the day-to-day running of our busy trade counter, yard, and local deliveries.

The role is varied and hands-on — ideal for someone who enjoys keeping busy and getting involved in all aspects of a small but growing business.

Key Duties Include:

Serving customers at the trade counter and offering product advice.

Processing sales, payments, and refunds.

Assisting with purchasing and stock control.

Preparing invoices and sales receipts.

Handling deliveries and collections (loading/unloading).

Carrying out general yard duties and maintenance.

Occasional delivery work using our 3.5-tonne drop side truck.

Processing online orders and communicating with customers.

About You:

Physically fit and happy with a mix of indoor and outdoor work.

Customer-focused, self-motivated, and adaptable.

Comfortable using a computer for basic admin and sales tasks.

Previous trade counter or merchant experience preferred but not essential.

A clean driving licence is required.

Forklift licence/experience would be beneficial.

Hours:

Part-time basis (Friday full day plus 2–3 half days during the week) Flexibility can be offered here.

Must be available to cover additional hours during staff holidays or busy periods.

Our normal opening hours are Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–3pm.
