Our client based in Basildon, Essex are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their fast growing team on a permanent basis. You will be providing UKAS accredited Asbestos Surveys for all types of properties across the UK.

This role is Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts, shifts starting from 6AM. Please note the right candidate would need to be flexible due to needs of the business.

Duties for this role will include:

* Driving to various sites across UK carrying out domestic and industrial surveys
* Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
* Inspecting buildings for potential asbestos
* Collecting samples of materials for laboratory analysis using appropriate PPE
* Assessing the condition and location of potential asbestos to determine the potential risk of exposure.
* Preparing comprehensive reports detailing the location, type, and condition of ACMs, and recommending appropriate management strategies.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving license
* P403 or RSPH level 3 in Asbestos Surveying
* Previous experience in this sector
* Must be flexible with hours of work as this company operates 24 hours a day
