About The Company:

We are delighted to be supporting a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in Hayes with the recruitment of a Finance Officer. Our client aims to deliver the very best educational experience for its pupils with each school bringing its own strengths and expertise.

The Role:

The purpose of this position is to support the Senior Finance Team with the day to day running of the department. As Finance Officer, you will be working in a close-knit team and will be responsible for a variety of transactional duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- To process financial transactions in line with the MAT`s policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounts using the MAT`s financial management system
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Review debtor list and chase outstanding income
- Assist the Senior Finance Team with ad hoc financial duties

Desirable Skills:

- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A high level of personal professionalism and confidentiality
