An opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing international insurer who specialise in healthcare liability, medical malpractice insurance.
Overview
IT Application development is outsourced to a specialist solutions provider. The Software Tester will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing functional test scenarios to ensure the readiness and usability of several policy management, claims handling systems and various interfaces between internal and external systems, in line with business requirements.
The tester will also develop test scripts to address areas such as, user acceptance, regression, security and load testing. The tester will be strong on documenting all of software defects and reporting these back to the Development Team and wider Ops and business teams.
The role will involve interaction across all functions within the business so will suit someone with a strong understanding of the London / Lloyds Market and its operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to be able to use your skills and experience and to shape your role as we are building out our business.
What you need to show
* 3 years + experience in a software assurance testing role
* Good understanding of the Lloyds / London insurance market
* Able to build strong working relationships with multiple key stakeholders
* Highly attentive to details with a structured, methodical approach to problem solving.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated and pro-active with results orientation.

* Salary to £55,000 + 10% bonus target
