Our client who specialises in the distribution of medical equipment based in Basildon has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is to join a growing team to successfully manage the daily demands for a distribution operation.
Key responsibilities
* Adopt a hands on structured and proactive approach.
* Be responsible for managing warehouse related business processes.
* Check goods received and confirmed condition.
* Conduct picking and packing of planned orders.
* Complete general warehouse administration duties.
* Maintain regular part stock checks.
* Assist with addressing the training needs of colleagues.
* Engage with team members.
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, able to prioritise & organise your own workload and can work under pressure.
Working Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30pm.
The salary for this position is £25,000 per annum.
