Full time (37 hours per week)

We are looking for a proactive and experienced ITAM Inventory Specialist – Software Asset Management (SAM) to join our Information Technology Department, contributing to our mission of enhancing cybersecurity throughout the University

As the frequency and sophistication of cyber-attacks targeting higher education institutions continue to increase, Canterbury Christ Church University remains committed to delivering a transformative educational experience for students, while prioritising cybersecurity and compliance. Through our strategic Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) Project, we are reaffirming our commitment to enhancing cyber resilience and upholding industry standards by expanding the teams responsible for driving improvements.

Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to understand their software needs and recommend appropriate solutions that align with digital strategy.

Contribute to the development and implementation of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Work with IT Asset Manager to develop and implement strategies for the effective management of software assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to retirement.

About You

We are seeking a proactive, approachable, and customer-focused individual with prior experience in Software Asset Management.
