Cyber Security is becoming ever more important to all organisations with ever increasing threats and compliance requirements. The University is re-affirming its commitment to Cyber Security by growing the teams responsible for driving improvements.

A new role is being recruited within the End User Computing team on a two year fixed terms contract which may, depending on the outcome of teaching bid, become permanent. This role will allow the team to maintain operational responsibilities whilst also improving the security and functionality of the University's IT services.

As an End User Computing Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

The day-to-day management of End User Computing systems, ensuring performance and reliability standards are met.
Specialised support for a range of computing issues related to End User Computing, including implementation, troubleshooting and system updates.
Working with various IT and University teams to facilitate efficient and effective solutions for the University needs.
Software testing, packaging and deployment to university systems.
Configuration and management of systems including some of the following, intune, Azure AD, AD, SCCM, Tanium, Jamf, Sassafras
Maintaining a secure and compliant computing environment.

We are looking for approachable, customer-focused engineers who have a broad range of experience in managing, developing and supporting IT systems.
