Deputy Head of Curriculum (DHoC) for Construction Crafts

Where you’ll work: This role is multi-sited, with the nature of the work will require travel to any of the College sites as required.

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: Spot salary of £43,200 per annum.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within North Kent College’s Construction Crafts curriculum area for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join the well-established team as the Deputy Head of Curriculum.

This post is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction crafts trade, has the relevant skills and experience to teach young people and a desire to pass on their knowledge, whilst working to support a team and manage resources to ensure optimal performance.

The postholder will help drive forward quality and excellence in teaching and learning across the department and will ensure that senior managers have access to relevant information in a timely fashion. Under the Head of Curriculum’s direction, the Deputy Head of Curriculum will help to lead a team of professional staff to achieve the College objectives, behaviours and targets as identified in the Strategic Plan.

In return, we’ll give you 42 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, and you’ll be enrolled onto the Teachers’ Pension Scheme which also includes life assurance. You’ll also benefit from free parking and have access to a range of onsite facilities.
