Electrical Design Engineer
An esteemed engineering company is on the lookout for a proficient Electrical Design Engineer to enhance their design and coordination team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Electrical Engineering, with significant experience in designing and coordinating comprehensive projects. This includes working on LV systems, lighting, power, fire alarms, and other specialised electrical services.
Responsibilities Include:
* Leading and managing entire projects from an electrical standpoint, including the coordination and design of all MEP systems.
* Playing a pivotal role in the design/coordination team, responsible for overseeing BIM operative drawings, contributing engineering solutions, and aiding in BIM model coordination.
* Ensuring accuracy in design calculations, compliance with equipment schedules, builders work, and providing assistance to contracts managers in technical submittals and equipment selection.
Candidate Requirements:
* HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Experience with BIM/Autocad and Navisworks.
* A proven track record in leading the design of complete Electrical services projects.
* Experience in sectors such as Education, Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare.
* Full UK driving license and access to personal vehicle.
* Ability to work independently and confidently represent the company in client/design meetings.
* A minimum of 5 years of senior UK design experience in the Building Services industry.
