You will work for an exciting and growing organisation with an outstanding reputation. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and efficient day-to-day administration of the Resourcelink HR/Payroll system for a designated section of the organisation's payroll. This role is part time (28 hours per week).

Your new role

* To take responsibility within the payroll & pensions department of day to day administration of the payroll, working proactively to deliver assigned tasks without prompting.
* Carry out the accurate preparation and production of monthly payroll data in Resourcelink from the start of employment through to leaving, including issue of P45.
* To ensure that the payroll operates efficiently and to agreed standards, taking responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all payroll data.
* Provide a full payroll function to staff, including developing effective relationships with internal departments.
* Ensure full compliance with current payroll legislation and contractual obligations.

What you'll need to succeed

* Proven experience of working in a payroll environment and understanding of procedures relating to payroll processing.
* Awareness of GDPR and related legislation and its impact on the organisation.
* Good working knowledge of payroll statutory requirements including PAYE, NI contributions, SMP, SSP.
* Good IT skills, particularly MS Office packages.
* Good working knowledge of the application of payroll deductions in respect of pension contributions.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £24,285 as a full time equivalent which is pro rata'd to £19,428. There will be hybrid working available once trained.
