We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join a reputable education organisation. This role is a full-time position with an immediate start.
You will be a detailed oriented individual will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organised and possess an excellent level of numeracy and accounting systems knowledge. You will hold responsibility for maintaining accurate financial information via an Access system, supporting the Business Manager in all aspects of financial control and providing general administrative support to the organisation.
Duties include:
* Processing payments/invoices on Access
* Provide budget holders with accurate and timely data
* Manage and process transactions
* Issuing and reconciling petty cash
* Credit control
* Supervise and delegate activities to a small team
* Monthly reporting to Business Manager for accurate monitoring/breakdowns.
To apply, you need to be experienced with Access, understand budget planning and cashflows and be adept at developing key stakeholder relationships. Candidates with professional qualifications would be reviewed favourably along with candidates whose experience lies from within the education sector.
