Are you passionate about Resident Involvement and committed to making a difference in social housing? Hays, on behalf of a well known Housing Association are looking for an experienced Resident Involvement Manager to lead the implementation of their Resident Involvement Strategy. You'll be ensuring the residents' voice is at the heart of their decision-making and leading a small resident involvement team to drive service improvement.
We need someone who will lead a range of involvement activities such as discussion groups, working with involved groups of residents to review our services and policies and working with our active scrutiny panel to analyse our performance information and carry out reviews of service areas. It's essential to have resident involvement and line management experience. You'll understand the regulatory framework we work in and be interested in the wider political landscape and understand the current issues affecting social housing.
As well as working with residents, you'll be building relationships internally to ensure the successful delivery of our resident involvement strategy and buy-in from all staff, so you'll need to be someone who can build a great rapport with people.

The experience we are looking for
* A comprehensive understanding of social housing, and the associated regulatory frameworks
* Experience and of resident involvement and scrutiny in governance and at a national level.
* Experience of working directly with residents or customers to gather service feedback and insight to support customer service improvement and increase satisfaction.
* Experience of line management and leading and motivating a team
* Experience of running large-scale projects with multiple teams.
* Experience of managing a customer or resident led to a scrutiny function.
* Experience of and reporting of outcomes
* Understanding of using data to improve services and inform decision-making.
* Ability to produce detailed reports that demonstrate outcomes and provide analysis
* The ability to be innovative and flexible with service delivery.
* Able to build rapport, collaborate, and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management.
* Excellent communication skills: able to write plain English and engaging material for diverse audiences on a range of platforms, speak clearly and listen skilfully, able to adapt personal style to different audiences.
* Ability to challenge positively and bring a solution focus to address issues and improve service delivery.
* Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, seeking direction and support when necessary.
* Organisational skills and experience of facilitating events on a variety of scales.
* Knowledge of the relevance, impact and value of diversity and inclusion in the involvement agenda.
