Responsibility of the Assistant Manager:

Supervising and coaching production staff to ensure safety, quality and efficiency
Maintaining a sterile and healthy working environment.
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, such as output, waste, downtime and customer satisfaction
Implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering, logistics and sales, to resolve issues and optimize processes
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Knowledge and Expectations of the Assistant Manager:

At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, tools and materials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize
A positive attitude, a high level of initiative and a willingness to learn
