Your new role
You will be joining a fast-paced finance team, learning from and directly interacting with corporate teams and Finance Director level individuals. You will be responsible for the preparation, review and audit of the UK statutory accounts, as well as monthly statutory reporting to parent company. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Legal entity reporting into Group Corporate systems on a monthly basis.
* Quarterly reporting to corporate teams including input into the production of the quarterly and annual Group published financial statements.
* Assisting in the preparation of the financial statements for multiple UK-registered subsidiaries.
* Involvement with monthly accounts reconciliations
* Liaison with multiple internal departments including business finance directors and financial controllers, tax, treasury, company secretarial and internal audit.
* Dealing with external and internal auditors.
* Improving and reviewing processes, managing change.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, either ACCA, ACA or CIMA, bringing previous experience in statutory accounts. You will have strong technical accounting skills including experience of IFRS (FRS 101). You will be resourceful, confident and highly motivated, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You'll need to be IT literate, including strong Excel, with Oracle or JDE experience highly desirable but not essential. You will be confident enough to improve existing processes.
