Your new role
You will be joining as an Assistant Accountant, a role created due to growth. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting with business reporting
* Ensuring authorisation of purchase invoices and setting up payment runs
* Contractual invoicing at regular invoicing for ongoing projects
* Submission of HMRC returns (P11Ds, CIS)
* Specific project reporting
* Liasing with other departments including operations and sales
* Becoming a systems expert
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring one to two years experience within an accounts role, including experience in transactional finance and some month end. You will bring a demonstrated commitment to delivering excellence, hitting deadlines while maintaining accuracy. You will have excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, both written and in person. You will have plans to study either ACCA, CIMA or AAT, and be confident on IT systems including Excel.
You will bring a positive attitude, and the confidence to contribute ideas and improve processes.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience.
