IT Support Technician

Established over 30 years ago, my client based in Dartford, Kent, is a global supplier, exporting fire control equipment to over 70 countries Worldwide.They are seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team based in North Kent. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Job title: IT Support Technician

Job type: Permanent

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum DOE + benefits.

Environment: Hybrid

Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00 / Friday: 08:30-16:00


Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring all IT Systems are up and running. Providing users with a high level of customer service. Taking ownership of incidents and requests assigned to you and managing them through to resolution.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
* Install and configure software and hardware
* Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
* Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role
* Strong knowledge of working with support of MS AD, MS exchange, MS 365, Windows 10, VPN
* Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
* Excellent communication skills
* Formal IT qualifications e.g., CompTIA, MCP
