My niche client based in Rainham, Essex are actively recruiting for a permanent Sales and Business Development Executive.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be reporting to and working closely with the sales manager, whilst targeting new customers and developing long standing partnerships with existing and future customers.
The main responsibilities are:
* Management and further development relationships with a new / existing customers.
* To undertake targeted personal visits to new and existing customers.
* Make telephone calls and in-person visits to new and prospective customers.
* Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
* Plan and identify potential growth opportunities with product developments & industries
Candidate requirements:
* Ability to create trusting, collaborative business relationships
* Self-disciplined and able to work on own initiative
* Driver - due to meeting clients across the country
* Confident making outbound calls to new and existing customers, comfortable working autonomously, using own initiative to think of ways to make new leads
Skills required:
* 3+ years sales experience, with a proven track record of success
* Knowledge of the timber panel market and industry ideal, but not essential
* GCSE grade 5 (or equivalent) or above in Maths & English
* Strong IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office required, plus Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
