We are currently working with a leading manufacturing business based in Gravesend.

Due to ongoing success, they are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for creating new products for new and existing markets and redesign existing product ranges to meet customers' evolving needs using CAD and CAE. You will respond creatively to new methods of attack and to new market challenges with your designs. You will be working as part of a diverse team on design, prototyping, troubleshooting / problem solving. You will contribute to the continuing evolution of the Technical department with your suggestions for improved ways of working.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Experience in SolidWorks, PDM, and SAP
Exceptional attention to detail
A creative and innovative thinker, able to take a fresh approach to challenges
Good work ethic, with the ability to remain productive and well-prioritised with minimal
supervision
A strong team player and collaborator, who can listen and share ideas readily and work
as part of a multi-talented team

Hours for this role will be 8.30am - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4.45pm on a Friday with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week after completion of a successful probation period.
