Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent Appointment Booking Coordinator/Scheduler for our client in Rainham, Essex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating appointments for jobs using the various suite of company applications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations by effectively managing the appointment calendar and ensuring timely scheduling of jobs for all operatives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive job requests through the system (Zoho Desk and others) and review the details to understand the nature of the job, including scope, location, and customer requirements.
* Coordinate with customers, tenants, end users and operatives to schedule appointments for incoming jobs, taking into account availability, urgency, and any special requests.
* Collaborate with internal teams when necessary to determine the most suitable appointment slots based on skills, workload, and location.
* Communicate appointment details to customers, tenants, end users, including date, time, and any specific instructions or requirements.
* Update and maintain the appointment calendar accurately, ensuring that all scheduled jobs are properly documented.
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries regarding appointment scheduling, providing accurate information and addressing any concerns or issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Certifications or training in customer service or scheduling are a plus.
* Proven experience in appointment scheduling or customer service roles, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, operatives, and internal teams.

Key Competences:

* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and collaboration

Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday and you will ideally drive due to the location of the role.
