Are you a skilled Logistics Administrator seeking a challenging role in a highly reputable company known for its exceptional service? Look no further!
They are actively seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Logistics Administrator. With years of industry experience and a commitment to providing bespoke solutions, they take great pride in delivering first-class service to their valued clients.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be based in their Sevenoaks office, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient communication with clients, whilst also maintaining excellent customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve promptly addressing queries, utilising in house company systems, and primarily engaging in email correspondence. With your exceptional telephone manner and dedication to customer satisfaction, you will contribute to the seamless delivery of their services.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate delivery logistics by preparing documentation and collaborating with couriers/hauliers.
• Efficiently dispatch customer orders utilising the in house company system.
• Generate pick sheets for inventory on-site and retrieve stored goods using store manifests.
• Maintain proactive and clear communication with customers
• Ensure optimal stock rotation
• Support the customer service team by addressing queries, processing orders, and undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required.
While experience within the manufacturing industry is advantageous, it is not essential. We value individuals with a "can-do" attitude and a high level of professionalism. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are paramount for effective email and phone correspondence as is the ability to collaborate as a team drawing upon your exceptional interpersonal skills. Additionally, your organisation, self-motivation, attention to detail, and process-driven approach will contribute to your success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, and a good level of numeracy is highly valued.
Location: Sevenoaks
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary: circa £30,000
