Role: HR Administrator
Location: Snodland / Maidstone (On Site)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 per annum + Company Benefits
Our client, a family-run manufacturer based in Snodland is currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent, ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing business who are excelling on a day-to-day basis.
The client is looking for a HR Administrator to join their growing business. Working closely with the external, retained HR and Health and Safety Consultants, you will assist with HR, Health and Safety administration & implementation throughout the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the recruitment process by advertising roles, filtering CVs, conducting pre-employment checks and arranging interviews. For some roles you may be required to conduct the first interviews.
- On boarding all new starters, including preparing offer letters and Contracts of Employment - Prepare and issue standard HR letters as necessary.
- Be the first point of contact with our external, retained HR and H&S consultants and ensure we are following their advice.
- Be the point of contact internally for any HR or H&S related queries.
- Arrange H&S audits, risk assessments etc as required with our H&S consultants.
- Conduct/assist with return to work meetings, performance reviews, employment reviews, disciplinary meetings etc.
- Take accurate minutes during HR meetings and share with our HR consultants.
- Take ownership of employee files and ensure they are kept up to date.
- Assist in the organisation of staff perks, staff social events etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Very strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- HR qualifications are useful but not necessary.
- Great attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
