Our client, an International Logistics company who offer efficient and reliable Freight Forwarding services, are currently looking to recruit a Freight Internal Sales person to join their growing Operations Department in Chelmsford.
This is a full-time position, working 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
As Freight Internal Sales, you will be quoting services to customers and internal sales team members, as well as keeping up to date with industry and market changes and trends.
An ongoing focus will be to find reliable and competitive suppliers to meet the company’s need, and in particular the operations team.
You will also be involved in new market projects and helping with operations, as and when required.
Other duties of the Freight Internal Sales:
Seeking new partners in other markets and regions out of the UK, building and developing relationshipsPassing industry and market updates onto the internal team and posting them on the company’s social media accountManage the company social media accounts (dealing with marketing, sales promotions and updates)Sourcing reliable & competitive suppliers to meet the needs of internal operations teamMaintain an efficient quotation systemWork on operations when requiredAssist for any new market project when needed
The successful Freight Internal Sales person will have excellent customer services skills and have at least one years’ experience in sales from a freight / logistics background. You will also need to be organised on quotations.
