Senior HR Advisor

North Kent (Office Based)

Monday to Friday (Full Time)

£35,000 - £37,000 DOE

Some travel will be required from time to time



Are you an experienced Level 5+ CIPD HR Advisor looking for the next step up in your career? Pearson Whiffin have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated HR professional to step into an exciting Senior HR role. This is a true generalist role and the ideal candidate will be switched on, be able to take ownership and be able to give sound solid advice to others. The successful candidate will be working alongside a friendly, professional HR team and will be able to hit the ground running and really make a positive impact on the business!

Some duties include:

* Start to finish HR responsibility including;
* Acting as the first point of contact to all employees and giving advise where required
* Employee relations; sickness and absence management, grievances etc
* Recruitment; shortlisting, interviews, onboarding etc
* Preparation of employee contracts and payroll documents
* Generating new ideas to develop policies and procedures
* Providing training to managers to embed HR policies throughout the company
* Occasional travel to other sites will be required on an ad-hoc basis

To be considered for this position you will need to have / be:

* A Level 5 or 7 CIPD qualification
* Previous experience working in an advisory HR role at a senior level
* Strong employment law knowledge and keep up to speed with new laws and legislations
* Previous experience dealing with disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
* Excellent IT skills
* A team player
* A full driving licence and be able to travel when required
