Our Client experts in import and export solutions are currently seeking a Junior Freight Forwarding Clerk to join their team in West Thurrock.

 

As the Junior Freight Forwarding Clerk, you will be setting up orders, checking loadings and deliveries, and checking relevant documentation and passing on to shipping lines.

The successful Junior Freight Forwarding Clerk will ideally have some experience in FCL/LCL exports and imports – Seafreight, some Customs entry knowledge, which would be ideal, and excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with oversea customers, hauliers and agents.

Receiving pre-alerts from overseas agentsCreating files both manually and on the computer systemPlanning loads and sending load lists to agentsCharging filesPassing purchase invoices and dealing with any queries
