Job Description
Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Control
Using Sage 200 & Credit Hound software
Raise sales ledger invoices/credits
Credit checks to maintain customer credit limits and minimise bad debt risk
Credit control – through to court action if required
Produce customer statements and process remittance advices
Working experience of CIS scheme - payment applications / retentions (desirable)
Filing and archiving as and when required
Answer telephone calls and direct calls accordingly
Processing of sales invoices
Responsible for all Credit Control
Dealing with invoice queries and discrepancies and liaising with colleagues regarding any accounts discrepancies
Qualifications & Requirements
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
A working knowledge of SAGE 200 is desirable
Knowledge of engineering/generator industry would be desirable
Ability to work on own initiative and work well within a team environment.
Must have excellent attention to detail
