Our client a well-known freight forwarder and logistics company are currently looking for an Export LCL Customer Support for their team based in Basildon.

 

As the Export LCL Customer Support, you will retrieve mails from the box to arrange collection and enter onto system. You will also be liaising with hauliers to establish any issues and keep clients updated.

The successful Export LCL Customer Support will ideally have 2 years’ experience in the industry, as well as Export experience or have been working as an Export Operator / Export Clerk / Export Coordinator, etc.

We are keen to speak with self-motivated candidates who have excellent customer service skills, as well as a good telephone manner.

 

Export LCL Customer Support Duties:


Check pick up costs and send collection note to relevant haulierNegotiating lower rate when applicableConfirm pick up date to shipperAdd costs and sales to bookingLiaise with operations department checking if hazardous cargo is acceptableAdd pickup costs to the systemMonitor Operations shared mailbox
 

Experience required for the Export LCL Customer Support:


Good attention to detailThe ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphereAbility to work in a team and on your own initiativeKnowledge of the Multifreight system would be an advantage
