Our client is an international logistics company, specialised in international, 3rd-party and freight forwarding business, and they are currently looking for an Export Operator to join their team in Chelmsford, Essex.

As the Export Operator, you will be dealing with the USA Market , liaising with agents / customers / hauliers, controlling all aspects of exports from start to finish and everything in between.

The successful candidate will have a good operational know-how of export procedures, excellent customer service skills and experience of LCL and FCL from a freight / logistics background.

Being a proficient communicator; in person, on the phone and in writing and having commercial sense are vital attributes

Duties of the Export Operator:


Ensure all Consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure

Keep customers fully informed of anything which may cause delay to a shipment

Develop constructive relationships with key customers and key suppliers
