Our client is a provider of worldwide shipping solutions, and they are currently looking for an Internal Sales candidate with experience in Freight Forwarding sales to join their team in Basildon, Essex, to build, support and develop regular established business.
The successful candidate will have sales experience in some aspect of freight forwarding.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have deep sea shipping experience, excellent customer service skills and a good telephone manner.
Duties of the Internal Sales - Freight Forwarding:
Following up clients quotes to obtain feedback, requote (where required) and maximise potential businessAction credible sales leads provided by Management, or overseas offices and submit data into CRMSpot pricing UK clients LCL Import and Exports using company's in house systemProvide quotations and ensure that quotes are loggedMaintain relationships, identify potential clients etc.Assist with marketing activities
In return, you will be offered a salary depending on experience.
