An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Ocean Freight Coordinator for our client based in Basildon, who specialise in Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics Solutions.

 

As the Trainee Ocean Freight Coordinator, you will be assisting with handling Sea Freight consignments for both Imports and Exports, and will be dealing with high volumes of data entry on the in-house IT systems.

 

Other duties of the Trainee Ocean Freight Coordinator:
 


Liaising with Clients, shipping lines and overseas offices / agentsArranging FCL / LCL loading plans/manifests/bookings & customs processesDealing with cargo related warehouse queriesRaising & passing of invoices
 

The successful Trainee Ocean Freight Coordinator will ideally have commercial awareness, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills.

Having Sea Freight experience would be an advantage, but is not necessary, as training will be provided.
