Our client, an Essex based charity are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to join their busy but bubbly team in Chelmsford, to develop the company’s outreach services.

The role of Team Leader is to provide wrap around outreach and accommodation services to Rough Sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping.

 

The successful Team Leader will have previous management / Team Leader experience, knowledge of the private housing market and experience working with charity and homelessness.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as you will be liaising with funders and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

 

Team Leader Roles and Responsibilities:
 


Ensuring services are smoothly deliveredMaintain existing processes and developing new onesEnsure regular welfare checks on rough sleepers are carried outEnsuring that all street link referrals are responded to with a visit within 24hrsDealing with monthly meetings – ensuring they take placeResponding to complaints and dealing with all issues
 

Experience required:
 


IT literate – can confidently use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook in particular) and ability to learn new systemsFull current driving licence in order to drive charity vehiclesAbility to lift in order to assist with room clearing and moves
