My client is looking for a professional and conscientious Assistant Management Accountant. You will play an integral role in the day-to-day processes of the finance team. This is a fast-paced environment so my client is seeking someone who can work well under pressure. You will be working as part of a team and although you must display an ability to get on with your own work, being versatile and offering support to other team members is crucial.

What does it entail?

Processing and allocating monthly sales from multiple revenue streams
Calculating sales returns
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, variance reports, prepayments and accruals
Supporting with budget and forecast preparation
Bank reconciliations
Intercompany reconciliations
Tracking and controlling stock movement
Quarterly VAT returns
Aiding Year-end schedules and liaising with auditors
Dealing with HMRC correspondence

What skills and experience do I need?

Experience of working in a similar role
Qualified / part qualified / qualified by experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong IT skills
