Our client, a successful Freight Forwarder, is looking for a Seafreight Import & Export Clerk to join their growing team in Essex.

We are keen to speak with candidates who preferably have Sea Freight Import / Export experience, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and commercial awareness.

The successful Seafreight Import & Export Clerk will be checking manifests once received, receiving and checking relevant documentation then passing on to shipping lines, and creating files both manually and on the computer system.

Skills/Experience required for a Seafreight Import & Export Clerk:


Good Administrative skills

Be self-motivated with a sense of urgency.

Import and export ocean experience / knowledge

Ability to build relationships with customers
