A long established and very successful manufacturing company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Sales Coordinator on a permanent basis.
Working in a team Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You will have previous experience within a telephone sales orientated role. You will be IT literate, analytical, have strong organisational skills, be a team player and be self motivated.
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and fluency in Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi or Urdu is essential.
Your role is to answer/make incoming/outgoing calls and work with customers to sell them the company's products. The ideal candidate must be passionate about what the company has to offer and truly believe in the vision they sell. In addition, the role will provide administrative support to the wider Sales team.
Your main duties will include:
* Encouraging customers to buy products by using a prepared script to reference important parts of what the company offers. You can go off-script when necessary to build a relationship with customers or answer any questions they have not addressed in the script
* Updating the database with new information every time there is customer interaction, and back up data regularly to protect sensitive customer information
* Updating sales forecasts monthly, to maintain high service levels to customers
* Complete forms and record logs to create accurate, detailed files for each customer, providing insight into the target audience and what they want from the company
* Track performance vs contract, to ensure the correct information is recorded to manage stock levels effectively as well as tracking & flagging contract renewal dates
* Carry out general sales support for range reviews, samples, meetings, presentations etc
* In time, assume additional responsibility for specific customers and take business development opportunities for growth.
