We are recruiting for a major manufacturing and production company to fill the position of Transport Assistant. If you are a great communicator with experience in a construction, factory, or warehouse environment this is the job for you! With a starting salary of £24000, this job requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work proactively in a team and individually. Full training will be provided.

Transport Assistant's main duties:
- Route scheduling and general transport office duties are carried out to ensure customer orders and internal material transfers are made 'on time in full'
- The weighbridge office is always to be run in an effective and efficient way, maximizing utilisation of all transport re
sources whilst ensuring the high levels of external and internal customer service are maintained
- Manage unforeseen challenges/circumstances which will adversely impact performance to ensure they are communicated to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.

Experience in construction, factory, or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Reliability and efficiency are key attributes of a successful applicant.
