We are working with a major manufacturing and production company who are looking for a CAD Drafter. If you are a self-motivated and eager CAD Drafter looking for an exciting opportunity this is the job for you! They are offering a basic salary of £21000 to £30000, excluding overtime, depending on skills and experience. You will be required to work a 4-week shift pattern of the following Early/ Late starts (45 Hrs per Week):
- 2 weeks: 07:00 - 16:30 (30 mins for lunch)
- 2 weeks: 09:30 - 19:00 (30 mins for lunch)

The responsibilities as our CAD Drafter include:

- Working with our experienced Technical team to produce 2D / 3D drawings and programs for the production departments.
- Be responsible for programming orders using CAD/CAM software primarily for our tube laser machines in line with the production schedule, while ensuring maximum utilisation of materials.
- The team also works cross-functionally and provides Technical Support to our Sales team and customers to resolve drawing and production issues.

What are we looking for in our CAD Drafter?
-The role will suit a team worker who is keen to learn and committed within this fast-paced workplace.
- Experience producing 2D & 3D CAD drawings (with a relevant qualification will be an advantage)
- You must have the ability to produce informative and clear production drawings including all technical information
- You will need to be focused and diligent, with good communication and listening skills.
- As a minimum, you will have working experience with 3D CAD, preferably Solid Works.
- Knowledge of Trumpf, SigmaNest, and Steel Projects PLM software will be an advantage, however, training will be given.
