Team Members - Sales Consultants and Sales Manager

Salary - £22,500 plus bonus scheme (performance based, paid quarterly)

Hours - Rota-based 5 working days per week
2 weekend working days per month

Opening Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am-5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am-4:00pm

Holidays

28 days per annum (including Bank Holidays)
You will be required to work some Bank Holidays (rota-based)

Job Purpose

Trade Counter Assistant is a front-of-house sales role that will task you to communicate with
customers to take orders, provide key product information and to facilitate collections and returns for
trade customers. The purpose of this role is to fulfil customer needs efficiently and effectively and to
identify and record opportunities for sales growth. This is the ideal role for an outgoing and
personable candidate.

• Handle enquiries
• Record opportunities
• Arrange product returns

Key Duties

• Welcome trade customers on-site
• Handle incoming communications with trade customers which will predominantly be face to
face.
• Provide product information and range guidance to customers
• Check stock availability and/or lead times
• Process sales orders and invoices
• Process material returns
• Identify opportunities
• All sales enquiries that are not an immediate sale are record as an Opportunity
• Ensure product samples are on display (guidance from the marketing manager)
• Other duties may be assigned and/or the above amended from time to time

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or construction industry is preferred
