Marketing Product Manager

West Kent

£40 - £45k DOE



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Product Manager to join an innovative, global company with a great reputation in the wellness and self-care market.



Duties include:

* Managing the NPD process through to launch across EMEA markets, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Developing and putting into action 3 year rolling product category and brand marketing strategies.
* Working with the team in China on brand initiatives, ensuring the brand strategy is consistent worldwide.
* Collaborating with the Sales Director to ensure product pricing is consistently set to be competitive and meet agreed margins.
* Providing tactical direction and support to local country marketing teams and distributors implementing strategic plans and marketing activities.
* Supporting UK and Europe Sales colleagues with Trade Marketing, including providing customer presentations and POS and product literature.
* Taking a proactive approach to developing and maintaining comprehensive market knowledge, producing market intelligence reports to help in seeking both product and communications opportunities to grow categories.
* Ensuring marketing spend falls within agreed budgets.



The ideal candidate will have:



* Solid international product marketing experience in an FMCG environment, ideally hair or beauty.
* Demonstrable experience of managing successful EMEA/ Global product launches and brand business plans, building great working relationships with internal and external colleagues across the UK and internationally.
* A track record of growing sales and meeting time and budget requirements effectively.
* Experience of POS project management.
* Great strategic planning and implementation skills with plenty of commercial acumen and analysis.
* A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, exciting atmosphere.
* Fantastic communication skills, including confidence and flair in presentations and negotiations.
* Ambition, drive and creativity.
