Syndicate Underwriting Assistant
To £40,000 + excellent benefits & CII study support

An opportunity to build technical knowledge and develop a long-term career with one of the markets largest Lloyds syndicates.
You will be joining the specialist global product recall underwriting team and provide a diverse range of different technical and administrative duties together with ad-hoc projects. This is a progressive role with the expectation that the successful candidate can build a long term career within the department.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
* This role will include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information within the department.
* Monitoring and updating underwriting systems.
* Collate information and create various reports.
* Monitoring premium payments.
* Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships.
* Preparing for and attending client meetings.
* Ensure activity within the department meets FCA, Lloyds and internal regulatory requirements.
What you need:
* Degree educated
* Some experience in a similar role
* Ideally, exposure to the Lloyds/Company (re)insurance market
* Excellent with Underwriting Management IT systems and MS Excel
* Able to manage data and analytical
* Enjoys learning and applying new knowledge
* Proactive and adaptable
* Strong team ethics
* Confident communicator and able to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Committed to a long-term career
