Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Medway, Kent for a Class 2 Driver (Temp to Perm)
This is a great opportunity to join a company where there is the possibility of a permanent position
New drivers are welcome to apply for this position, providing that good roadcraft is shown
The salary:
- The hourly rate for this role is £16.00 per hour + holiday pay
- The working week is Monday to Friday, full time hours starting at 06:00
- No Weekend or Bank Holiday work
- Once permanent the salary for this position is £24,700 + company bonus
Duties of the role:
- Making approximately 10 deliveries per day around London and the South East
- Delivering steel mainly to businesses and some residential clients
- Manual lifting may be involved
A successful candidate will have the following:
- A full LGV 2 licence with no more than 6 points or a DD or DR
- A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card
