Lettings Administrator

Salary: Dependent on experience, with the opportunity for commission.

Working Hours: Full time to include two Saturdays a month with a day off in lieu.

Location of role: Paddock Wood, Kent

Our client is looking for a committed and passionate individual to join the firm’s residential lettings department, to be based at Paddock Wood office.

Enthusiasm and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. The candidate will need to work on all elements of the lettings process, being able to balance their time efficiently between competing demands. Attention to detail and working to a deadline is part of the daily routine and key to the success of the role.

Letting’s experience is preferred but not essential. In time, the candidate will be encouraged to achieve the ARLA Level 3 qualification and be supported by the business to do so.  Alongside an exciting, rewarding and collaborative working environment, a competitive package will be on offer.

JOB SPECIFICATION

This role is varied and challenging, with responsibility extending to all aspects of the Lettings process.

The role will include:

Dealing with Landlord, Tenant and Applicant enquiries.

Arranging and carrying out viewings with prospective Tenants.

Undertaking routine property inspections and dealing with matters of property maintenance.

Supporting the promotion of the Lettings team and wider business.

Advising on matters of regulatory compliance.

Preparing new properties for marketing.

Preparing Tenancy Agreements and other legal notices.

Day-to-day property management through use of the main Lettings management IT system

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High standard of customer care and service provision.

To have attention to detail and be able to work under pressure.

To have good IT skills and to be a proficient user of Word, Excel and Outlook.

A full driving licence and own car.
