We are seeking an Ecommerce assistant to join us here at Southern Roofing Supplies. The role is available on a part time basis currently but could possibly be increased to a full-time role in the future.
The Duties will include Creating and maintaining new products and product ranges, website and product promotions, email campaigns and social media posts and promotions.

Southern Roofing Supplies is an Independent Roofing Merchant which has been established for 22 years as a physical business. We pride ourselves on supplying quality products, great customer service and competitive prices. We supply a variety of roofing products and systems to the Trade and DIY Enthusiasts.
Our online Journey only started just over 12 months ago but is steadily growing every month and this is one area of the business that we wish to continue to grow and develop for many years to come. Therefore, we are seeking a suitable person to join our team and help to build and maintain our web shop.

The Role:

You will be responsible for Creating, maintaining, and editing new products, product ranges and Product prices within our online store and eBay. Making suggestions and reporting to the manager any recommendations that you feel would help and develop the online store and encourage new sales.
Creation of email campaigns, social media posts, general promotion of the online store and products.
You will be required to work alone as well as part of a small team and be reporting directly to the business owner.
The hours and days of work are flexible but would need to be agreeable to both the candidate and company.

What are we Looking For?

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has at least one year`s experience in this type of role and industry.

• Self-starter who can work independently or as part of team meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate with experience in Word and Excel Spreadsheets.
• Basic IT Skills

Job Type: Part Time – Permanent.
Hours: we are open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm – (Work hours to be Agreed as per our Advert.)
Salary: £10.00 to £12.00 Gross.
Location: ME14 3EH – Near the Lordswood Area of Chatham, Kent.
